Mission:
Doing What We Do Best
Location: Transporter Room 2/Sickbay
Timeline: Concurrent with Foothold
At Doctor Kellerman's instruction, Henry had everyone ready and standing by. When the call for a medical team to the transporter room had sounded, Doctor F'Arra had called him and the other orderly to join her. They grabbed an antigrav gurney and rushed towards Transporter Room 1, only to be told en route that it had been changed to Room 2. They didn't question why, just rerouted the turbolift.
As the doors opened, they saw the wounded transporting in, and Henry immediately opened a medkit and grabbed a tricorder, handing it to Doctor F'Arra, then dropped to the deck and began a visual inspection of the patient.
An oddly feline snarl sounded, as the doctor began to assess the situation. The ones who were still conscious were in obvious pain. She ignored that. Pain was a sign you were still alive. "Chief! Site-to-site for those two, now!" She pointed one hand, two fingers extended towards a pair of unconscious bodies with obvious head wounds. "F'Arra to Sickbay. Duel head traumas inbound via transporter." She hadn't even finished the sentence when the sound of the humming had gone away.
The Caitian pulled a hypospray from her belt, and a pre-set chamber from the medkit. It was a standard mild pain relief, and pressed it against the neck of one who had mainly surface wounds. "Talk to me, Ensign." She instructed to Henry, who was moving around the group.
"Two superficial, they can wait. One burned, in shock, two with phaser wounds, but may have to wait."
As Doctor F'arra examined the more dire patients, Henry began instructing those who could walk to get to Sickbay and wait for treatment.
"Kellerman to Transporter Room 2," Kally's voice suddenly chimed in over the comm system. Her voice was strained, but alert. "I'm in Sickbay and attending to the packages you sent. Let me know if you need additional teams."
"We'll need three more gurneys," Henry said as F'arra gestured to him to handle it.
"Understood. I'll have them there immediately," Kally said, closing the channel.
Henry continued to assist Dr. F'arra until the doors to the transporter room opened again, a handful of orderlies pushing anti-grav gurneys. Henry nodded to Doctor F'arra and they carefully lifted each patient onto one of the gurneys as the orderlies left, one by one, bringing their patients to Sickbay.
