Meeting the First Officer

Mission: The Boneyard Heist

Danielle hadn't been aboard the Chimera long and had already had the pleasure of meeting the ship's Commanding Officer. A lovely woman who was a former pilot herself, she already admired Commander Skyie. Ensign Michelson's next official task was a meeting with the ships First Officer, she only knew his name and that his office was on deck two. Once Danielle arrived on deck two it didn't take her very long to find the First Officers office, she hit the chime and requested permission to enter.

Tyler stepped off the lift and noticed there was a rather attractive young woman wearing a red uniform standing at his office door. He assumed it was the new Chief Flight Control Officer who he was supposed to meet with in about fifteen minuets. Carrying a PADD and a glass of sweet tea he smiled as he stepped up to the young woman "can I help you Ensign?" the First Officer asked, trying to keep everything as official as possible.

Ensign Michelson turned to see the First Officer standing behind her, he was probably the tallest man she had ever seen. She nervously got out "Ensign Michelson reporting for duty sir" and snapped to a very rigid attention.

"At ease" Tyler said with a smile on his face and reached beside her pressing the access to his office. He locked eyes with the beautiful young woman and smiled "come on in."

Danielle had never been more attracted to anyone and only got out "uh huh" before breaking eye contact and turning to go in his office. She nervously took a seat and then thought to herself "dang it you are not supposed to sit unless he offers".

Moving around the desk Tyler took his seat and made eye contact with the Ensign again "well welcome aboard Ensign Michelson."

"Thank you sir" Danielle smiled and tried not to be to flirty, it was what she considered her first real assignment and she wasn't trying to get in trouble.

"Look's like this is pretty much your first star ship assignment?" Tyler asked looking over the top of the PADD he had in his hand.

"That's correct sir" Danielle gave a half confident nod with her answer and smiled at him.

"How are you feeling about that" Tyler leaned forward on his desk and sat the PADD down. He wanted his full attention on the Ensign, she may have the lives of the entire ship in her hands at some point.

Danielle blinked a few times, a flirty blink she used when she wasn't sure exactly what to say. "I think I'll do fine Commander" she leaned forward "I've had more then enough time in a simulator and the Commanding Officer has offered to mentor me."

That last bit caught Tyler's interest, Cally must of liked this young woman. "I'll have to review your scores at a later time" Tyler had no doubt Cally was all over this.

Danielle smiled again "most of my experience is with small craft, but I feel confident that I'll be okay" she restated what she had said before.

"I take it you've settled into your quarters?" he asked with a smile, trying to be as polite as possible.

"Yes sir, my next stop is to check out the bridge" she smiled and looked down and then back up at him. Shifting in her chair "I'd really like to get familiar with my station and perhaps start some simulations if I can find any of the Luna Class."

"Sounds like a logical step" Lieutenant Commander Driskill gave a flirty smile. "Let me know if you need any help at all" the smile on his face remained.

"Thank you, sir" Danielle smiled.

"Well if there is nothing else, I'll see you around" Driskill said raising his brows and slowly standing up.

Ensign Michelson gave a smile and a slight nod and left his office. Her next stop was indeed the bridge and then probably the holodeck, she wanted to be as prepared as possible. She also wanted to impress both members of the command team, so Ensign Michelson was going to run flight simulators.
