"We need options...fast"

Mission:
The Boneyard Heist
Location: Bridge
Sam kept watch on the view screen of the events unfolding in the locked down Holodeck Three. It was now obvious that the holodeck safeties were off due to the minor, and in Rene’s moderate flesh wound, that there was an urgent need to end the program safely or repair the transporters to get Rene and Jenna out. He looked back at the officers gathered around the Ops Two console and prayed they could come up with a solution before the six holographic soldiers found a way to breach the church.
Calypso kept looking to the turbo lift every few seconds. The Engineer was supposedly on the way and she wanted to see her as she got in the door. Finally, after it seemed like a week, the turbo lift opened and the Lieutenant walked through it and stopped, gaping at the screen. “What the hell?” She said as she saw Jenna and are e on the screen, one trying desperately to open a tile, the other getting ready to fight off overwhelming odds. “What are they doing on the screen?”
“I was hoping you were going to tell me.” Calypso bit out, “They’re in the holodeck, the safeties appear to be off and they can’t shut it down. What can be done?”
“Transport them out?” Laura suggested, “But the transporters are down… Ummm.. It looks like Jade’s trying to use the manual override, if she can get it open. That should do it, or otherwise they just need to complete the program. Which looks difficult…” She grimaced, “I don’t know what else we can do.”
“Cut the power to the holodeck.” Cally stated, then Davenport shook her head, “Why?”
“Shutting it down while it’s malfunctioning may dematerialize the players as well. I can’t be sure if the computer realizes they’re not holograms unless they complete the program.” Laura explained, then inhaled sharply as Cally all but appeared next to her.
“What did you do?.” Calypso asked directly, grabbing Laura by the collar, “What did you fuck up this time?”
Sam stepped up next to Calypso and Davenport. "With all due respect Captain. Roast her later." He hiked a thumb over his shoulder to the main viewer. "We have to get them out of there."
Cally released Davenport’s jacket reluctantly, but the COB was right. “Options. Transporters are down, no access to the program. Can we blow the holodeck doors, COB? Explosives, crew served weapon, however?”
Sam sighed as he shook his head. "Trying to breach the holodeck could cause an overload that would kill them both." He glanced at Davenport and a thought came to mind. He hoped for once she hadn't done her job. "Lieutenant, are any of the newly acquired shuttlecraft still not synced to Chimera's computer?"
“All of them.” Davenport bit out, face pale as she eyed Cally sideways, edging away from the irate woman, “We’ve been tracking down bugs in the environmental system and we shouldn’t need the shuttles anytime soon.”
Calypso spun to the COB, “Get down there right now, Sam. Pull those kids out of there.”
Laura edged slightly behind the imposing Chief of the Boat and as he turned to go at the Captain's command, "Thank you for inter-"
Sam gave Davenport the stink eye to cut her off mid sentence. "Do not think for one damn moment I was doing anything as a favor to you. I want those two young officers out safely. End of discussion!" A moment later he was in the turbolift and gone as the view screen resonated with the first crash of the make shift battering ram.
Cally glanced over to Laura as the engineer just stood there, as if she'd had nothing better to do. "You're still here?" She asked venomously, then pointed to the turbolift, "Go find out what happened. I want to know exactly what series of events caused that." She pointed at the main viewscreen, "You've got twelve hours, Lieutenant."
Laura nodded slowly, backing away until she felt she was far enough away, then she fled into the lift and down to Engineering.
Calypso continued to watch the viewscreen as the Guards finally broke in and the desperate but losing fight by Rene. It was a kick to her guy when she saw the shot that took him down, then the tommy gun, then the screen went blank. The gaudy music stopped, the other screens cleared of their 1700s themes and it was over. She tapped her comm, "Sam?" She asked quietly.
=/\=I transported them both directly to Sickbay. I'm already on my way there.=/\=
"I'll meet you there. Skyie clear." Cally sighed heavily, at least they were out. At least they were out.
