Mission: The Dexic Negotiations
Doctor Adiff took a look around an empty sickbay. Most of the crew were either working on something to get the ship in the best shape possible or taking leave on the star base. Adoll was saying good bye to the first sickbay he had ever had the chance to completely run. Although the few crew members assigned to sickbay for the short time they were there, well they really didn't see much action.
There were a few minor things to be done, mostly crew physicals and making sure they received supplies for the oncoming Chief Medical Officer. A Doctor J'naii if the rumors he had heard were true. Doctor Adiff would be transferred to over see one of the star bases secondary medical bay's and play the role of Medical Officer, which he was very proud of. There was just something exciting being in charge for a short time.
"Computer lights" he said as he turned and walked out the med bay's doors. The room went dark upon his exit and as Doctor Adiff walked toward the turbo lift he had a smile on his face. He had taken the time to say thank you once again to the Commanding Officer and his goodbyes to the First Officer, but that was it. He hoped that he would one day cross paths with some of the other's he had met during his time on the USS Chimera.
A short time later he was crossing the airlock. Stopping to look back once more he whispered "safe journey old girl" and turned to start his own new journey. He had several meeting's already planned ahead of his arrival the stations command team, the Chief Medical Officer and a host of other people that shared his new home.
He checked in with station security at the airlock and gave a quick "thank you gentlemen" to the two men working security there and was on his way to find his quarters. One good thing about the station is there were plenty of rooms for everyone so even as a junior officer he would probably have a small private quarters. Which was better then the bunk he had on the ship he had just left, he would always be fond of her. Perhaps the station would earn him new friends and more memories to cherish. Only time would tell and the Doctor knew that all to well.
