| Personal History | Jenna was born on March 18th, 2372 in Columbia, South Carolina to a family that could trace it's roots to back to before the American Civil War. The Jades became a part of high society which was where Jenna grew up. She became a tennis star at the age of thirteen, when she won the Under-Sixteen championship for the State and went on to be the runner up for Nationals. The next year, she won it. When she was fifteen, she won the Grand Prize in her school science fair when she designed and holographically built a matter/antimatter reactor from scratch with her own design, two months later receiving an invitation from the Academy for a visit to put her creation to the test and actually building it alongside a couple of engineering cadets and one of the professors.The functionality, though far inferior to the current designs in Starfleet, gave her an invitation to attend the Academy after she graduated from high school. Over the objections of her mother, Kiera, and with the support of her father, Jason, she did just that as soon as she could. At the Academy, she was a tennis star, winning the Academy Tournament in her Freshman year, though that was the only time she won it. She was assigned by her advisor to take her Cadet Cruise on the USS Katana, but got bribed by another cadet to switch to the USS Chimera. |
