Mission: The Boneyard Heist

Doctor Adoll Adiff was very egar to arrive aboard the USS Chimera . He had spent the last several hours talking to a very pleasant young Ensign named Valerie Sheldon. One of the ship's Operations Officers "I can't believe we have been assigned to a Luna Class" he said with a smile on his face.

As Sheldon took the shuttle out of warp she smiled at the Doctor "Oh I agree, but from what I understand the ship need a little work." The Luna Class was stationed in the bone yard and was being repaired.

"Well at least we wont be bored" the always optimistic Bolian chuckled.

"I suppose" Sheldon agreed as she started navigating through the bone yard to their new home. "It's really a shame Starfleet let such a ship" she paused "well just go to waste."

"Aye" Adoll replied looking over at the Ensign. "I wondered why the shuttle had been packed with so many supplied, but it makes sense now" he shrugged slightly as the console in front of him blinked. "Look's like we are clear for shuttle bay one" there was a smile on his face, even if they had their work cut out for them.

It didn't take long for the shuttle to dock and the two officers to check in. The supplies would be unloaded by some of the shuttle bay crew in the next few hours. A lot of it was going to sickbay as the Doctor had been ordered to bring medical equipment and supplies with him to the Chimera. Just moments later the two officers and their personal belongings were in the turbo lift headed to the deck that housed junior officer quarters.

When the doors to the lift opened the two stepped onto the deck and started down the corridor. "I'm glad I got to meet you" Valerie said with a smile to Doctor Adiff.

"It had been a pleasure" the Doctor returned the sentiment with a warm smile. "Perhaps we can have a bite to eat once we are all settled in?" he asked.

"Of course" Valerie smiled, she could see herself being great friends with Adoll and always believed you could never have to many friends. "Well this is me" the Operations Officer said with a smile on her face as they reached her quarters.

"Well" Adoll smiled and extended his right hand "good luck."

Shaking the Bolian's hand Ensign Sheldon smiled "you as well, I'll see you around Doc."

It wasn't long until Doctor Adiff had reached his quarters and started putting away his belongings. Photos of his parents and his beloved saxophone. He thought of how nice his new friend was and wondered what journey was ahead of them on the Chimera.

Both junior officers were excited to check out their stations. Adoll knew that the Luna Class offered one of the best medical bay's that the Federation had to offer and Sheldon couldn't wait to check out the operations station on the bridge. She was only a junior officer and would be stuck on the late shift, but it was a start to what she hoped was a long and successful career.
